The staff at Center for Pediatric Therapy have all been certified through the National Certification Board. They are all licensed to practice through the state of Connecticut. Each therapist annually keeps up on continuing education. Members of our staff possess advanced certifications in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and the Administration and Interpretation of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT). Many therapists have over 20 years of experience in pediatric therapy demonstrating a commitment to children with special needs. Additionally, many of our therapists possess specialty certificates. We incorporate a variety of traditional and cutting-edge therapies.
The company’s commitment to professional development is enhanced by each therapist’s area of expertise. Mentoring, supervision, collaboration, case conferencing, and formal training foster the exchange of ideas and promote each therapist’s ability to clinically reason on an advanced level. For therapists who are continually seeking to advance their skills, each of these experiences is considered critical to providing children with optimal intervention and support.
