Meet Our Management Team

Kim Hajjar, OTR/L Clinical Director
Kim is an accomplished Occupational Therapist who has advanced through various roles at CPT, starting as a staff therapist and ultimately becoming the Clinical Director. She oversees operations across three office locations, contributes to program and policy development and implementation, and manages contract therapy services with local school systems. Graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1993, Kim gained valuable experience at Yale New Haven Hospital in the Neonatal ICU and pediatric complex medical floors before joining CPT in 1996. Her diverse treatment experience spans outpatient clinics, early intervention programs, and school systems, addressing a wide range of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, feeding disorders and developmental delays. She holds specialty certifications, including the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), Interactive Metronome, and Handwriting Without Tears. Since 2014, she has been an adjunct faculty at Quinnipiac University and currently teaches Masters and Doctoral students in pediatric sensory processing and integration lab practicums.

Amanda Baum-Johnson MS, OTR/L Clinical Supervisor
Amanda graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2011 with a master’s degree, having completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies there. She began her professional journey at the Center for Pediatric Therapy after finishing her Level II Fieldwork and now primarily works in the outpatient clinic. In addition to treating children with various diagnoses, including ASD, neurological disorders, developmental delays, genetic disorders, feeding issues, and torticollis, she also serves as a clinical supervisor and fieldwork supervisor for Level I and Level II fieldwork students. Amanda is committed to continuing education, having trained in several specialized techniques such as the SOS Approach to Feeding, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and courses on sensory processing and reflex integration. Since 2015, she has been an adjunct faculty member at Quinnipiac University, where she instructs master’s students in pediatric sensory processing and integration lab practicums.

Diane Kacin Business Manager
Diane first connected with Tara, the owner of CPT, as a mother seeking treatment for her child’s sensory integration challenges. She joined CPT in 1995 and has been an integral part of its growth, development, and dedication to the families we serve over the years. Diane plays a key role in managing various behind-the-scenes tasks that ensure the company runs smoothly. Additionally, Diane is here to help you navigate any insurance-related concerns you may encounter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Rhode Island.
