We consult and collaborate with other childcare professionals to better care for your child
Therapists from the Center for Pediatric Therapy can consult on any area of concern or collaborate with any professionals involved in your child’s care.
In addition to our clinic-based services (paid for by your medical insurance), CPT provides therapy services in the community (not funded by your medical insurance).
These services could include:
- home-based consultation to problem solve and provide home strategies
- a collaboration meeting with your child’s school-based team
- visiting community programs to provide suggestions and strategies for successfully managing in typical childhood activities in the community
Our goal is to help support you and your child for success in all areas. If you are interested in any of these external services, please speak with your therapist.
If this is a need, please discuss with your child’s therapist or call the office closest to your home. Once a plan is outlined for one-time or on-going collaboration, the fee structure can be outlined.
